Tammy Kimble is an accomplished executive and trusted advisor to organizations navigating growth, transformation, and strategic change. She most recently served as Executive Vice President of Global Human Resources for Plug Power, a publicly traded energy technology company, where she led global HR strategy in support of rapid innovation and business expansion.
Throughout her career, Tammy has held increasingly responsible HR leadership roles across the financial services, technology, and manufacturing sectors. Her expertise spans enterprise talent strategy, executive development, succession planning, organizational effectiveness, and aligning people strategy with business outcomes. Known for her people-first leadership philosophy, she partners closely with executive teams to ensure HR is a strategic driver of organizational performance. She believes culture is the true driver of organizational success and that when leadership, talent, and strategy align within a strong values-based culture, sustainable results follow.
A graduate of Siena College with a bachelor’s degree, she also holds an MBA with a specialization in Human Resource Leadership from Sage Graduate School. In addition to her corporate leadership experience, she has taught human resources at RPI’s Lally School of Management, Siena College, and The Sage Colleges, reflecting her deep commitment to mentoring and developing the next generation of HR leaders. She served for many years as a member of the Siena School of Business Advisory Council (SOBAC), contributing her expertise to support academic excellence and strengthen the connection between industry and academia.
